From the rant in my previous post about dramatics and all the rest to the reason I actually do organise things. It may have sounded like I didn't have fun at the spud meeting the other night due to hsytertics from certain quarters, there seems to be a bad bout of them going around at the moment, but I did. I got a lovely thank you from one of our spudlets saying how much he enjoyed it. Also one of our newbies had a really good time and she thinks we are all lovely. Which we are. The weekend starts tonight as I'm meeting up with the mate C. Haven't seen him in a month or more so looking forward to catching up on all the geeky news with him. He can't make the MOD meet and christmas drinks on Sun, tis his gf's bday and his mother has some play on as well. Everyone else can make it though and I am so excited that I finally got their uniforms sorted. There are loads of spud related shirts and stuff floating around but with the team being more then just spudlets, I wanted to differciate them So I ordered t-shirts with Team Spud written on them and hoodies. Granted it cost me one of my nixers. And I wonder why I never make any money from the sites I do, its because I spend it all on the spud!
I suppose at least I am making the money to spend. I hope they turn out okay now, the woman who took the details
wasn't the most helpful. I was so stressed with running back and forth that when I finally sat down and met up with
J I was yabbering non-stop. She had as stressful a day so it was fine. Then her sister joined us and it was a fab night.
We watched lots of cute babies, I've decided that the Market Bar is baby heaven. There are tons of them everywhere.
Yesterday as I was a bit rough from the previous night I decided not to go training. I was shattered and had already
received loads of missed phone calls from the kid. She was on her way over to ours to pick up her pill and borrow
money for peroxide. Her tab is getting quite high now. She's starting to get excited about christmas. About time! I am
definetly taking pictures of the lights this weekend, else christmas will be over and I won't have any decent ones. The
christmas fair starts next Wed as well. Although we're doing loads of christmassy things over the next few days. I'm
meeting up with the college mates on tomorrow night as its been ages since I've seen them and as its christmas, the usual catching up with people must take place. Saturday is some christmas shopping, take some pictures of the christmas lights and then head to the Amnesty Carol Service in Christ Church Cathedral. Sunday, myself and J , if she arises on time, will head to a kickboxing demonstration by the black belts. Really looking forward to it and then the MOD meet and drinkes. Unlike last year, I don't have any expectations except if they say anything about the hoodies OR t-shirts, I may cry. As long as I get to catch up with them, discuss the year ahead what with it being the year of the potato and all that and having some food. And festive cheer :)
