Satuday night on the pc

Its Saturday night and I'm online. Something not quite right with this picture. Although with the last few nights of madness, perhaps its good to recharge the batteries. That and the kid is claiming she never sees me any more. She can be a tad dramatic at times. On Thursday night there was a lesbian club over from London for the night so I had organised to head to it with a few mates. Mammy2 was still nursing a cold and wasn't feeling the best. I had to represent the angry potato. I was wrecked and not really in the mood but everyone else had pulled out and the mate J was looking forward to it. Apart from an incident whereby she thought she could return home to feed the cat and come back out. Such a laserbeam. The club was good fun but I left early. There was a good crowd and we took a fair few pics.

The kid texted us on Friday to tell us that some pub had rang her about her cv and asked her about what sort of work she was looking. She was taking this as a good sign. We were chuffed. It would be great for her to get a job. When I rang her, herself and the boyf were queuing up for Guns and Roses. It was 3 o'clock, they weren't coming on stage until 8. Kids. I was wrecked. Notice a pattern. Last night, smoe of the guys who are on my website were launching their demo cd so I had to go along. Mammy2 was still in rag order so I headed off by myself. It was a realy good night, got to meet some new people and finally met up with one of my baby dykes. She's dating the mate R's housemate. There were loads of people out, the camera was mis-behaving so the mate A was taking pics no my behalf. I met up with her before the gig as I didn't want to arrive in by myself. She was in Front Lounge with her mates. The gig wasn't as loud as I thought it was going to be. I enjoyed most of it. Someone suggested going onto a late bar. I think I may have objected but I don't recall. Silly woman that I am.

Today I am of course paying the price.

Mammy2 is out at the sister's bday bash. I hope she gets on okay. The creature is also at it, hence the reason I didn't go. I wandered up town with her for a drink beforehand. I had a wander around town afterwards, before deciding I had better spend some time with the kid. She's been haressing me for not hanging with her. My ears don't have the strength to listen to her talk. Hence I'm online with music blaring . And I'm supposed to be working. I'm sick of working sometimes.

She had a great time at the gig apart from some oaf jumping up and down on her foot. She had to get it bandaged up by St John's ambulance. She was very upset but when she got home, Mammy2 had to calm her down. Herself and the boyf had a row and she was mad at him. He didn't stay over. I think its all sorted . He was giving her hassle about being a drama queen. She was crying when she came in, Mammy2 said she was a right state. Big tears rolling down her face, claiming she had no friends to hang with and she liked hanging with him but he was being an ass. The poor thing. I hate that she has no-one to hang.

Her birthday party is coming up and the only person her own age who's going is the boyf. She is mates with a lot of our mates but still its not the same. Sometimes I wish she'd get on with others. I think she's too mature, or perhaps she thinks she's too mature. Perhaps though she's like us, we didn't make friends until college and even then we're not the most trusting of people when it comes
to mates. We don't make friends easily. Aquaintences alright, but good mates. Maybe we get it from Mam. Who knows. She hated everyone ;)

Two weeks to go to Pride and I think I may be purchasing a stetson. I need to shop for it. Mammy2 gave me her patented humouring me look. She explained to me that there's only one shop that sells them, so it should be no problem. I took that to mean I'll be shopping on my own for it. She referred me to the terms and conditions of our marriage. No stetson or welly shopping. I think is a bit unfair.
Everyone thinks she's saint for putting up with me. I'll have you know I am quite the catch. Just because of my odd taste in music, tractors and female guards. And lest we forget , potatoes. I LOVE potatoes.
