back to school

School starts tomorrow. Say a prayer for my well being around 5.30 tomorrow evening when I return from work and listen to her tirade. Mammy2 is conviently on a work trip to Montreal until Sunday. If I didn't know any better I'd say she planned this whole thing. By the time she returns I have a feeling one of us will be in a body bag. I dropped into Easons on the way home yesterday to purchase copies, pens, refill pads and science books. The place was hopping. Do people not buy in advance of returning to school or does everyone just wait until the week they are due to start back?
She has been in grand form, this could be to do with the new girl J, who's E's ex. Yes, you read correctly. She has been dating letters of the alphabet. Well, J was away in Sweden and now that she's home, they've been hanging and doing whatever teenagers do these days.

We had our 5th wedding anniversary party on the Saturday, as well as another attempt at baby making. And did I mention the Dubs match? We don't do things by halves. I think when I'm not looking, my ovaries sneak a peek at the diary and pencil themselves in for our busiest days or something because the last few times it has been mad. The party went well and the kid behaved herself. There was a good crowd at it, and lots of mingling was done.

The kid and Mammy2 are both dying of a cold, I am doing lines of Vitamin C to make sure I don't pick it up. I arrived home yesterday evening to the sounds of coughing and sneezing. It was more like a hospital then an apartment. J was over to hang out, she must really like the kid to risk the beubonic plague or whatever the kid has these days. She seems like a nice girl, but then again they all do until the kid gets bored and dumps then quicker then a hot potato.

I'm hoping school will be a smoother ride then last year, then again anything will be a step up from last year. We are still in negociations about the lip ring, she wants to wear some invisible stud in her lip that will keep the hole open for the lip ring. I am dubious about it, so I suppose it will come to a stand off tomorrow morning. Excellent stuff, just the way I like to start a Wednesday. I have nothing planned for the few days Mammy 2 is away, take it easy and try and get everything installed on the new pc so we can get rid of the old one. Its taking up so much space at the moment.

We also have to get in touch with the agents that take care of our apartment to see if we can rent it for another year. I really don't fancy moving this year with everything that's gone on. Moving is so exhausting. We shall see. Our landlady is rumoured to be a bit of an odd one, so we can only let the agency know we're interested in renting for another year and see what happens from there.

The sister and her boyf are staying in Kerry for the week and then back up to Dublin for the Friday night. I hope they get here before the killing starts, at least that way I'll have witnesses.
