female guards...purr

I sometimes think there is no justice in the world! After all the madness that had happened on the Wednesday, things have finally settled down thank god.
D has sort of sorted things out with her Mam, as to what the story was we'll never know. She is allowed stay over more with us. She either thinks we are the coolest parents in the world or are just plain daft. Either way, she's happy and that's the main thing.
Now, the justice comment. The guards showed up at our apartment. A female guard. Let me just
pause while I try not to cry as I type this. Anyone who knows me knows what my thoughts are on female guards, I go out of my way to be noticed by them from casually dropping like some pencil parings on the ground in the hope that they slap the cuffs on me, to following the ones that do the regular beat near me. Some people call it stalking, I call it coincidence that I'm always in the same area at the same time. And the restraining order hasn't deterred me at all.
So, the female guard. According to the kid, who's into everything and anything with a pulse these days, she was blond and lovely. I asked her not to continue with the description. The guards had a quick look around the apartment and headed off warning the kid if she heard anything to get in touch with them.
I still have images of D hanging by her fingertips out of our window until they had left, or maybe concealing herself as a coat hanger or something??!
Anyhow, the kid's happy. School's officially out. She's not happy about going to Holland though. She can get over it, I'm sure those 'lovely' people, her 'crew' as she phrases it will still be there when the Junior Cert is over. She's also not happy with the name they've given the band:
Pink Fluffy Bunny Feet
I kid you not, I would have paid money to see the look on her face when they announced this. One wonders how much pot they got through before they settled on that name.
She's on the plane now and should be in Holland for 18.45. The sister mailed us, its 31 degrees over. The kid will be delighted seeing as her clothes she packed consisted of black, black and more black with some black thrown in for good measure. I reckon the sister will ring over the weekend to announce the kid being fried!
Either way, myself and Mammy2 are going to enjoy having the weekend to ourselves. And lest we forgot, the baby making. I wondered why I purchased the Gay Times yesterday instead of Diva. The shoulders on the front were calling to me as are the ovaries. we went shopping for a predictor kit today, myself and C. They're expensive enough, the best part of 30 euros for them and they're not re-usable! I am not happy about that. However, the bargin hunter in C spotted that this was cheaper and also had a free pregnancy test thingy.
Its pants they are so expensive, but if they predict when these little feckers are ready to go rollerblading down the fallopian then that's all we need I suppose. Sure, half the fun is in the trying!
