drama is a food group for teenagers..

I just have to share because in years to come I want her to know the trauma and stress she put
her two mammies through!
She went off to school this morning in great form. Not a sign of any illness or anything like that.
An hour ago I get a phone call from D, her best mate's Mam saying that the kid was with her.
She was sick in school this morning and just had to leave.
Now, I don't mind when she's actually sick and she may have had a panic attack like she claims
but the fact that D wasn't in as well, made me a little bit suspicious.
Then again trying to talk to her in her current mood is near impossible. I rang her and tried to talk to her, to get her to go in for the afternoon.
Something along the lines of
"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ME, I had a panic attack and I'm still sick"

Strange how these panic attacks only happen during school hours or when we can't afford some new pair of boots she wants. I'm not dismissing panic attacks, I just question their timing.
The texting commenced between Mammy2 and herself, I don't possess a mobile phone and at times like these I thank god. Many texts later it turns out she's under house arrest by D's Mam. Yes, apparently we don't know the FULL story as to what goes on there. As adults, I'm sure we're never going to hear the full story.
I left Mammy2 to deal with it, while I have images of blue helmeted people heading into the house to
rescue the kids.

It sounds like D's Mam knows what they're up to and is keeping them in the house to study. Well, if they're sick they can't very well be heading out to hang now can they?!
At lunch, I am heading to the chemist and buying everything and anything to do with easing PMT, including adoption papers.
